Translucent , matte & colorless (not coated with titanium dioxide or iron oxides). Cosmetic-grade fineness (particle dimension 98%. Grey-white cost-free-flowing powder. Insoluble but miscible in water. CAS: 12001-26-two INCI Identify: Mica Properties: Filler & texturizer for improved skin truly feel. Increases slip & aids skin adhesion, acts as bulking agent in emulsions, lowers greasiness of oil-containing formulas, can change talc as filler, anti-caking properties (prevents clumping). Use: Add as is to formulas, normal use amounts: 10-forty% when used as filler, 3-6% when employed to decrease greasiness of oil-containing products. For external use only. Applications: Loose & pressed makeup powders, colour cosmetics (lipsticks, eye cosmetics), creams, lotions.
