Directions

    I tend to buy Buxom lip sticks but they are a bit expensive so I thought I would try one of these. I bought these lip crayons in Niagara Overlook and Napa Vineyard. The crayon in Niagara Overlook is creamy, has good staying power and is a pretty shade of pink. I would probably buy it again. The crayon in Napa Vineyard is not the same texture; it's drier and does not last as long. It wears off unevenly on me and I have to reapply it frequently. I only use one swipe as more than that makes the shade too dark. One swipe creates a beautiful shade of red, very flattering on my medium skin. Unfortunately, even though the color is very pretty, I wouldn't buy the Napa Vineyard shade again because I don't like the dry texture.

    With the extreme cold of outside and the dry, artificial heat of inside, my lips needed more TLC than my usual matte lip shades but more color than a chapstick. I am fair-skinned with dark red hair, so going without color leaves me looking very washed out. These lip crayons are the perfect solution, with a thick enough formula to provide some therapeutic moisture and a barrier from the harsh, wintry environment. The color fades evenly and is easy to apply, I don't feel like I need five minutes and a bunch of q-tips to get a clean look. Even better, if lips are already dry, this doesn't settle into lines or create any flakiness, it's buttery and comfortable. I've come back to pick up another color (Redwood Forest) and maybe another!

    Ho trovato molto buona questa matita labbra della Burt's Bees. In realtà, è una via di mezzo tra una matita, un rossetto e un burro di cacao, ovviamente naturale e con buoni ingredienti come dev'essere per me ogni cosmetico che si rispetti.
    Per quanto riguarda la consistenza la preferisco senz'altro al classico lipstick che dopo un po' tende a irrigidire le labbra, mentre questa matita è molto idratante, morbida e nutriente senza appesantire. Poi anche il colore è molto bello, un rosa tendente al fuchsia non troppo freddo e non troppo acceso. Un altro punto di vantaggio è che non si deve temperare, la punta è automatica. Mi piace, la ricomprerò.

    These are fantastic! I bought two shades: Napa Valley and Niagara Overlook. Both shades compliment my skin tone very much (I have medium- dark skin with warm/yellow undertones). Napa Valley is a very classy buildable red which is perfect for a bold lip. My only criticism would be that it smudges easily so I would recommend using a lip liner to control that. Niagara Overlook is a more understated warm pink which is surprisingly very close to my natural lip colour so it works perfectly as a neutral shade for me. I am super happy to have found one finally which is so reasonably priced. Both shades have great staying power- I ate and drank a full meal wearing Napa Valley and it only faded to a weaker red as opposed to rubbing off completely. They are also more moisturising than most matte lipsticks I've tried however I usually layer them with a lip balm due to it being the winter months.
