    My daughter loves this play makeup set. The blush and eye shadow are very gentle and mineral based. My daughter is very chemically sensitive and she has had zero problems. They are also very light in color so the makeup doesn't look terrible or too grown-up. The lip gloss does have a darker tint to it but it wears off quickly.

    The only problem we've had is that the eye shadow and blush are loose powders and can be messy.

    All in all I'd recommend this set just be prepared to supervise or you may have a bit of a mess to clean up.

    The market is saturated with children's make-up kits from China. Ingredients in such products include lead and lord knows what else and are readily available for very reasonable prices. But I wanted something safe and pure for my 4, 6 and 7 year old granddaughters to use when playing "make-up". I finally discovered these products which I can feel good about giving them. If they accidentally ingest or simply apply this make-up I know it will not hurt their fresh, youthful skin or be toxic in any way. They loved this make-up immediately claiming it was "real" make-up and had a wonderful time doing make-overs on one another. Also, the colors are not heavily pigmented, so when they are applied they have a pastel look to them which is more in keeping for a little girl. Yes, it is more expensive than the greasy, junk make-up from China, but well worth my peace of mind to know they are safe and happy. I will definitely buy this again!

    This is exactly the kind of thing I hoped would exist: make-up for little girls that's not made who-knows-where with who-knows-what in it. The themes of the kits are perfect for what girls want; my 7-year-old is into her ballet classes, and she loves to pretend with the make-up.

    I wish there were maybe one more item, but the 2 eye shadows (plus applicator), one blush (plus applicator) and one lip gloss let you have fun without going overboard. We keep everything in the box it came in, because it re-closes and has a handy handle.

    My daughter has multiple food allergies so we have to be careful when ordering makeup. She loves this brand and I like that the makeup is subtle not like adult makeup. The only problem is the blush has a very light-reflective powder in it so all the photos of my daughter wearing it show her cheeks glowing bright white. Keep this in mind if you are using it for a photo session.
