I have been using the brand for a long time and have to say that I love them.
The Bulgarian rose water is one of the purest and most organic facial routines you can use on a daily basis. I have very sensitive skin and most products cause me blemishes (no matter if organic or not), but when I use rose water my skin is instantly relieved. I use it with facial tampons to clean my face, I use it like a spray after I wash and I use it like a mask with one of those face sheets.

I have dry acne prone skin. (Premature wrinkles from using benzoyl peroxide, flakes, tons of acne scars, and some active acne)

This comes in a pretty big spray bottle. I used this following my vitamin C serum so at first it made my skin look really oily which made me pretty mad bc I assumed it was going to CLOG my pores. However, I slept on it and woke up with nice skin. I wouldn't say my skin was baby soft, but it was clearer and irritation went down. I rinsed my face with cool water in the morning, then sprayed it on. I usually use coconut oil to moisturize, it works great btw, but I need a lighter moisturizer especially because I live in pretty humid weather. W/o using my serum, I found that this rose water helps cool down my skin and prevents dryness during the day. My skin looks more subtle but is still pretty dry.

However, I would still recommend this product because it has made my skin better- I just have very complicated skin so basically nothing else really works. However, please DO NOT depend only on this product to clear your skin up. I have been switching to a vegan diet therefore the reason why my skin is getting clear is because of the way I eat but also because of my vitamin C serum which has helped my scars and acne. It's called "Life Essentials Vitamin C Serum," you can buy it on Amazon. No, I am not sponsored by anyone or asked to write this. It's just worked so well on my skin that I need more acne sufferers to know of these products :)

All in all, rose water helped make my skin more subtle, clearer, and balanced. I use it both morning and night. I'm very very picky of smell, and I found that this product doesn't smell too strong. However, it is fragrant but shouldn't bother you at all! Please use a generous amount and be patient with results. It took me only 1 use to see a difference. I'm hoping that using it more often will reap more benefits.

The real thing! Better than Poppy Austin

Rose water is my new necessity. I'm only sorry that I discovered it so late in life! My t-zone has always been an oily mess, and I get huge, painful adult cystic acne on my chin, which has only worsened with age. (I'm mid 40s, so very frustrating.) Six months ago I decided to try rose water on a whim. WOW. What a difference! Seriously! I can honestly say it has single-handedly transformed my skin, and the effect was almost immediate -- within two to three applications.

I use it twice a day, morning and night, sweeping it over my skin with a cotton round. With my previous skin-cleaning regimen, my chin and forehead would become greasy after a few hours, and I would resort to using oil-blotting tissues in between. But now with the rose water, I rarely need to blot. I can sweep it across my face in the morning, and six hours later my skin is still matte and normal. It's remarkable.

I tried Poppy Austin, but my concern is they can't confirm the product is organic. They say it is, but they can't prove certification. The Alteya rose water is certified organic by CERES Gmbh (German). Plus, Alteya actually grows and processes the rose groves themselves. This is not a situation of simply importing goods and slapping a label on it. When I researched and compared Alteya to Poppy Austin for business practices, Alteya came out leagues ahead. So I now buy my rose water through Alteya. (And it's twice the amount for less cost!)

Because I'm older, I use a variety of different skin-care treatments like vitamin C serums, glycolic peel wipes, etc. My skin can react to these with increased greasiness. But it's okay. As long as I do the rose water at least twice a day, it counteracts any side effects of these other treatments, so I get the benefit of both.

As I said above, my only regret with rose water is that I didn't try it 20 years ago. It's one of those "grandma" things that's easy to disregard. But really, it works.

I tried several different brands of rose water, definitely this one is the best so far. The quality is fantastic, the damask rose scent is exactly like I remember it from my childhood. My mother used to grow Bulgarian roses in our garden and she used the petals for face masks and other cosmetic applications. Several people mentioned that the scent is chemical but it's not true. The scent is 100% natural. Also rose water NEVER taste sweet, it’s slightly bitter and tangy. If you ever chewed a fresh rose petal, you will know how rose water should taste :)
I will definitely purchase this product again.
