Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Sun Protection Measures, Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early aging. To decrease the risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protection measure including: Limit time in sun, especially from 10 a.m. - 2p.m. Wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses. Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor.

Color is lighter than non-organic formula
I normally use the regular CC formula but wanted to try organic. The organic color is much lighter and doesn't provide as much coverage. I might still consider purchasing again because of the organic care for my skin but would go a shade darker. It also doesn't have as much SPF

    Have been using this product for over three years now. I've noiced that the price has more than doubled in local stores, so grateful for the good buy on Amazon. I have always used very expensive dept store brands. When I had endocrine disruption, which can be caused by the chemicals in cosmetics, I decided to go as toxic-free as possible. That's what I appreciate the most about this product. Compared to all foundations I've tried- "natural" and high-end, it goes on well with a creamy but balanced consistency. Not too oily, not too dry/matte, leaves my skin feeling well moisturized, with some of the best coverage I've ever found in a product. While I usually dab an extra bit on red areas, it lasts all day, and the tube goes a long way. At first was going to give it 4 stars for not working magic like some of the top of the line products do, but thats why its not toxic, that's why it's dirt cheap, and it's not a skin care product ; it's a foundation. I leace the magic to my skin care line, and with what I save on foundation, I could go to a plastic surgeon if I wanted to! It's always wonderful to find a quality product at a great price.

    The tube has an expiration date of 2023, and I recently opened it, and it has thick goops of slime or something in it, has caused a major skin reaction causing a doctor visit, smells gross, and today I pulled a long "string" of something out of the tube. FDA complaint filed for safety concerns. Looks like a LOT of issues regarding product pureness/quality on Amazon. I have used this same product for about 8-10years now and have never had issues with it smelling off, having a bizarre texture or pulling slimy "strings" out of the prior tubes I've used. There is something seriously wrong with my tubes I recently bought. My skin is a painful disaster too.

    Fabulous! I'm 48, light to medium skintone, with lots of sun damage from tanning indoors and outdoors, mild rosacea, and smoking cigarettes. Tanned all my adult life to hide the rosacea - which I mistakenly thought was adult acne. This is a cc cream but has enough coverage to be used as a foundation. Most foundations terribly irritate the rosacea and cause flare ups. Or they settle into my fine wrinkles and accentuate them. Ugh! This doesn't irritate my sensitive skin at all. Yes, it can accentuate large pores. I solved this problem by applying it with a foundation brush, letting it sit for a few minutes, then going back over the large pore areas on my chin and nose with the brush and buffing it in with a circular motion. Then I top it off with e.l.f. HD powder in sheer(it's great for older ladies as it doesn't accentuate wrinkles!). It stays on and looks good for at least 8 hours. This must be applied lightly - heavy application can be done but it doesn't look as good. And it has sunscreen spf 20! Bonus : The price on amazon is half what it costs locally for me! Also, I'm allergic to both phenoxyethanol and methoisichlorothiazinolene which are in almost all commercial foundations, lotions, hair products etc...and it doesn't have either of those in it:-)

    If you're fair and cool skinned like I am, then you may find that the color is too warm for your complexion. If you do decide to purchase this product, then I would suggest to also find a very light and cool toned setting powder to apply on top of the cc cream-- even a little arrowroot powder could do the trick.

    I've noticed the orange hue of the physicians formula wear in a previous makeup item I bought from them, and that is why I am not crazy about their foundation wear. The coverage is about average, however I think if the company could make the base of their makeup appear more yellow instead of orange, then they may have more success in flattering a variety of skin tones.

    I think that the product can seem like worth the buy if you don't want to spend a good hunk of money on an organic foundation. From what I've seen many of them cost $30+, but I haven't done extensive research nor have I personally tried them on myself. I suppose I'm just a person who wouldn't want to spend that much money on a makeup item.

    For me personally, I enjoy mineral foundation. The cc cream mixes things up a bit, but I don't know if I would buy the product again.

    I have repurchased this at least 5 or 6 times if not more. I wear it either alone or under makeup as my primer. I have dry skin and love that this product doesn’t cling to dry patches or make me look more dry throughout the day. When I wear it by itself, it has medium foundation coverage, to the point where I don’t even bother with concealer. I can just slap it on with my fingers and go. It’s magical because I feel like my skin looks better as the day goes by. Even if I start out with a “bad” skin day, I know that this will fix it lol. I read the other reviews and some of them are correct, the formula does seem to change as you get to the end of the product. I have experienced the same thing, difficulty getting the product out, clumping, weird bits on my face that won’t blend in. That part sucks and for that I am not giving it 5 stars. I have yet to find something I love more, so for that reason i keep repurchasing it. Because when the formula is good ( 90% of the time) it is GREAT!!!!
