So I'm in the process of growing my hair out to my shoulders (Any Jon Snow fans here?) and this product makes my very thick, coarse hair a lot easier to deal with in the mornings. Don't use too much, you really only need to fill in about a quarter-sized amount in your palm for your bangs as it expands. Each segment of your hair requires around the same amount.The Argan Oil really brings out the sheam of your hair and makes it look healthier, and the mousse itself adds in that much needed control for those with curly hair need. I see myself ordering more in the future as my hair weighs down due to longer length, for added volume.

I tried it as I have been using the Argan Oil products for quiet a while and they have done a remarkable job of leaving my Auburn hair so brilliantly shiny that I get a lot of compliments. I saw it here on Amazon when my store ran out, so I bought it. It is less than $9, and is exactly what I needed to do my hair and leave it shiny and bright, and manageable. Do not use too much as it goes a long way, it is not sticky and dries easily. 2 Days after styling my hair with this product, it still looks good.     I've probably tried at least 6 different brands of mousse. My fav before this one was Tres Semme. I kept on with the search even though the Tres Semme was doable and then I discovered OGX. I LOVE it. Here's why: 1. A little goes a long way. When I first started using it I put way too much in my hand (filled my palm). It took a few tries until I finally cut back enough to what I needed (which isn't much). 2. It doesn't leave any white residue. 3. My hair is long, straight and fine and this doesn't weigh it down and flatten it. It appears to give it more volume. 4. It has a very pleasant scent. It's a winner and I'm a happy customer. Yippee!

    I got tired of hair gel, balm/paste, hair spray. I couldn’t find the happy middle where it held my hair through out the day and kept it out of my face. Eventually it made my thick hair fall, or look greasy. I wanted to try something new, and that lead me here.

    It’s got an interesting scent, I can’t place it. But it has held my hair each time I’ve used this stuff. I will gladly purchase another one, unless I do some research and buy/find another that sells me on it.

    As for right now though, I’m a fan, I bought it before the pandemic so it hasn’t seen as much use.

    If you have low porosity curly hair that hates everything like mine, this might be the styling product you've been searching for. I have tried everything to moisturize and tame my frizz. I cant use protein, aloe, glycerine, oil, butters, and the list goes on. This product gave me the most beautiful curls I've had since I started my curly hair journey.

    Here's what I did. I cowashed my hair with Shea moisture low porosity conditioner. Then used kinky curly knot today as a leave in. Sectioned my hair, added this mouse, and combed small vertical sections of hair vertically away from my head for lift and volume. When I get to the top of my head I comb straight up. Then flip my head over and scrunch everything for a few minutes. And air dry. The result is smooth beautiful curl clumps all over my head

    This isn't at all what I was hoping it would be. I have medium-course hair that is straight as a board and it's cut in a short layered bob. I use mousse after blow-drying most of the moisture out of my hair after a shower, then use my round barrel dryer brush to put in a large under-curl. After it cools, I brush it back and get a nice feathered look all the way along the sides and back.

    The mousse products I've tried in the past never made my hair feel sticky, but for some reason this does when I use it the same as any other mousse. I'll also say that you might be surprised at how runny it is when you dispense it, but it eventually poufs up into a foam-ish texture. And, since it finishes sticky on my hair, I don't get the lift I like - it seems to weigh the hair strands down.

    I'll give this to someone who is after a more structured, hold-in-place-when-the-wind-blows type of controlled look. I prefer to have hair that is soft to the touch and looks more natural than this product allows my type and cut of hair.
