Product Description

SaaQin's All-Natural Quadruple Filtered Organic Beeswax is one of the purest beeswax in the world. Our beeswax is quadruple filtered to remove all impurities, debris, and any contaminations. Our beeswax comes in a bright and shiny yellow color. Beeswax is an all-natural wax produced in the bees’ hive. Purified and filtered beeswax is used in the production of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. Beeswax has been around for thousands of years and has a wide variety of uses, including: skin moisturizers, cosmetics and medicinal creams, lip balms, and other skin care products. Beeswax provides deep penetrating moisture, softens dry irritated skin, creates a protective layer, and protects skin from damaging environmental factors. It is used in cosmetics, face and body lotions, lip balms, moisturizers and many other skin care products. Beeswax in Candle making: Beeswax candles burn cleaner than paraffin candles, and contain none of the harmful chemicals found in other candles. Beeswax candles smell great and have a natural honey scent. They are great for people who are sensitive to perfumes and fragrances.

I recently purchased some bamboo cutting boards and was attempting to protectively coat them with mineral oil based on several online guides. After my third heavy application of mineral oil, the boards were still not adequately water-repellent and I was super-frustrated. Part of me was frustrated because my initial thought was to use beeswax but I wasn't able to find any quickly enough for me impatient self so I went with the mineral oil.

I searched through Amazon and read about the different beeswax bars from a variety of sellers and SAAQIN's product seemed to have great reviews & definitely a great price. I ordered it, received it 4 days earlier than expected, & just got finished waxing my bamboo cutting boards. It didn't take much work at all and, even though the mineral oil was super cheap, based on the amount I used without any success and the fact that I've barely scratched the surface with the beeswax bar, buying the beeswax was definitely the most cost-effective option. Lesson learned.

The beeswax has a slight scent to it but it mostly just smells like I expected it to smell, which is beeswaxy. I love the fact that just the heat of my hands while waxing my boards got some of the wax on my hands because it makes them seem so soft, even if it's only temporary. (note: the wax doesn't melt from the heat of your hands). I think this would be great for other projects around the house, too.

I definitely recommend this product & this seller for your beeswax needs. I cannot adequately express how excited I am to finally be able to use my new cutting boards.

So far seems to be a great product. I agree with others that it smells slightly smoky, and I don't detect much of a honey smell. However, many reviews I've read for beeswax products (from many different distributors) over the past few months have complained about the smoky smell of their beeswax. So I'm thinking this is a more large scale problem and therefore can't fault this company in particular. The smell doesn't really bother me and I use it for making personal/beauty products.

Great for what it is, but I'm not sure what it is for. I bought this product because it was labeled a cosmetic grade beeswax, which is what I wanted to make my own moustache wax with. When I tried, it held too much moisture and separated and would not turn malleable between the fingertips. This was a non returnable product. I think any product should be returnable especially if it does not fall into it's most popular use.

Bought this item as an ingredient to make my own eczema cream. Ingredient performed as expected as a binder to create a salve/cream. Blended well with the other ingredients. Exactly what I needed, works well. It is difficult to shred with a hand shredder but does smell nice.

I bought this to make sand candles with at the beach and it worked fine. However I did notice the smoke smell while melting. I burned a candle & realized that the smell was going to be an issue as these were not scented candles by any means. Plus the yellow color of the beeswax didn’t help me get the colors that I wanted when I added my crayons to my mixture. Remember your primary colors from art class that blue and yellow mixed makes green so you’re gonna need a colorless was. I recommend buying Paraffin wax for candles and use this yellow beeswax for your soaps and lotions.

This was my first time working with beeswax. I bought it to attempt making my own solid perfume with essential oils. The beeswax itself seemed like fine quality. It was working with it that was the issue! I tried grating it, and ended up having to chop it into thin slices with a kitchen knife. This took a serious amount of pressure to cut. In the end, it was time-consuming and messy. I had to remove the beeswax from the knife, grater, and measuring cup with a blow dryer.

Bottom line, my advice is this: it's worth it to pay a bit more for the pastilles; also, be sure to wipe up any mess you make with a paper towel while the beeswax is still liquid.
